"The
Chinese gondola occupies an important position in the world gondola, and the
gondola in Jiangsu Province is very famous, and the gondola in Wuxi (a city in
Jiangsu) enjoys a good reputation in Jiangsu Province.” This is the unanimous
evaluation of the global gondola industry. In the 1980s, the output of electric
gondola for aerial work in China was less than 100 sets. Ten years later, as
domestic high-rise and super high-rise buildings sprung up like mushrooms after
the rain, Wuxi Llittle Swan Building Machinery Co., Ltd., Wuxi Tiantong
Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Shenxi Machinery Co., Ltd and other
machinery manufacturers have followed up in time and have successively
developed a series of high-altitude mechanical suspended platforms. Although
the Wuxi’s suspended platforms manufacturing industry is not the first to start
in the country, it is the fastest growing and largest in scale, thus laying the
foundation for Wuxi as the land of suspended platforms. In 2010, China's suspended
platforms broke the 100,000 sets, becoming the largest country in the world for
manufacturing, sales and use of suspended platforms. Among them, Wuxi’s
suspended platform production accounted for more than 50% of China. Therefore,
at the end of 2015, the China Infrastructure Material Leasing and Contracting
Association awarded Wuxi the title of "Land of suspended Platforms",
and the relevant provincial departments also approved the establishment of the
"Jiangsu Access Machinery & Suspended Platform Association"
in Wuxi.
Now Wuxi’s suspended platforms stands at the new starting point of the world suspended platforms industry. The technological content and technical added value of Wuxi’s suspended platforms industry are also constantly improving. The transformation from "scale" to "quality" will lead the Wuxi’s suspended platforms manufacturing industry to the international leading level. In the near future, China will become the world's largest producer of suspended platforms.
